10 story glass Rainforest Pyramid is home to thousands of exotic plants, birds, fish and butterflies. You can navigate the rainforest of Africa, Asia and Americas to discover new wonders of nature at every turn. You can explore waterfalls and streams, a Mayan Colonnade, the Bat Cave and Butterfly Hatching Hut and an amazing, ever-changing array of tropical plants.

Join Moody Gardens for the premier of its newest 3D film Encounter in the Third Dimension. In this film we are transported to the Institute of 3D Technology with its passionate, yet bumbling advocate, the Professor, and his mechanical assistant, Max. Climb into a model of an X 38, the space rescue "lifeboat" of the future. Explore Hydroponics inside the life size mockup of an International Space Station living module. Try your hand at docking the space shuttle using the same hardware that real astronaut's train on. Visit our new one of a kind Mars habitat and immerse yourself in the role of a Mars Explorer. THE COLONEL PADDLEWHEEL BOAT
A luxurious double decker replica of an 1800's paddlewheeler featuring hour long cruises of Offats Bayou. Summer hours are daily at 12 noon, 2:00 and 4:00 PM from April 1st through Labor Day. During the winter, hour cruises are available daily at 2:00 PM. Dinner and private cruises are also available for groups of 65 or more. Public dinner/dance cruises are available by reservation.

AQUARIUM
Explore the oceans of the world at the new Aquarium at Moody Gardens. With over 130,000 square feet of building space and 1.5 million gallons of water, the Moody Gardens Aquarium is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the world. Marine habitat exhibits, jewel tanks and special viewing tanks will showcase colorful inhabitants from the ocean waters of the South Atlantic, North Pacific, the tropical Pacific and the Caribbean.
